Mystical Macy's Trip
With the beautiful spring weather making a debut this week I decided to go site seeing! after only living in the area for as little under two years I have a list off places and things I want to do while I live here in one of the greatest cities on earth. Take a look at somethings I got to cross off.
On Saturday I went on my annual trip to Macy's, in Harold Square to see there annual flower show. This is one of my favorite department stores in the entire city. The history and amazing event that Macy's Offers to the city New York, is what make this place so timeless to me. To make things little extra special is that my oldest sister and biggest role model works, in corporate level. This year the event was galaxy themed, they transformed there luxury goods entrance in a out of this world experience.

When In Brooklyn
"Self-care and basketball!" Is what I told myself when deciding to buy the ticket for the Brooklyn Nets game that would take place April 10th 2019. I have yet had the opportunity to visit Brooklyn, while living in the big apple, and for my first visit I was more than please and cannot wait to go back! That night was to be final stop, so to say, on Dwyane Wade's #OneLastDance "Farewell tour" before entering into retirement at the ended of the season. Since 2010 my favorite player and team had been Mr. Wade and the Miami Heat! I had never actually seen any games in person, until this year however. In late January, 2019 I saw the Knicks Fall to Miami, as the crowd was filled red & black, and pink & blue (City edition) Miami Heat Jerseys'. The number "3" seemed to be plastered on everyones backs! We all sat and cheered on one of the greatest basketball players of all time no matter what team you had actually come to see. Like that game, the crowed held the same energy just a few miles away IN Brooklyn. It even seemed to feel like the energy had doubled, even though we sat in a much smaller arena. We were all there to see one player, "Flash" as some called him, Dwyane Wade! What made this game so special for me was that it was just my 3rd NBA game, and my second time seeing Wade. I sat in the crowd as if I was watching a Broadway show observing, very clam taking in every second of game time. Looking around at all the fan, do what fans do. To looking at Mr. Wade, as he gazed with bliss across court to Mrs. Gabrielle Union-Wade, his wife, and a host of his closest friends. NBA stars, LeBron James, Chris Paul, and my all time favorite Syracuse University Player, Carmello Anthony. I sat and thought to myself, "wow, when that buzzer goes off, that is the end of the Wade era." The game game may have ended in a loss but It was still a win for everyone in the arena as we saw this man finish a 16 year run with the sport. Its a day I will never forget and I never want to! Basketball will exist differently to me now, it almost feels like the game cannot go on without him!
